Opening May 2025
Starting in mid-2025, the Vistamar house will welcome guests with two additional apartments. While construction is still underway, the most disruptive work has already been completed. To ensure a peaceful environment for holidaymakers and retreat guests at Quinta Pomar, the construction site is carefully shielded both visually and acoustically.
A century ago, this land was home to a family with children. Thanks to the fertile soil and the nearby sea, they never went hungry. However, those days are long gone – the family emigrated to America decades ago, leaving the house to fall into disrepair. Over time, a giant rubber tree took root in front of the building, its invasive roots breaking through the floors and walls.
After years of meticulous planning – further delayed by the challenges of COVID-19 – we finally received approval earlier in 2024 to restore this historic structure. Careful attention is being given to preserving its original character.
By end of May 2025, this once-forgotten ruin will be transformed into Vistamar, offering two beautifully renovated apartments steeped in history and charm.
