We are situated in the protected Ria Formosa Nature Park in the Algarve. The protected lagoon system is spanning over 170 square kilometers and offers unique wildlife, beautiful and clean beaches and is perfect for e.g. bird-watching.
What has started 20 years ago at Quintamar with nature-based tourism and tranquil accommodations has grown into Tres Quintas. It consists of Quintamar, Quinta Pomar, and Vistamar.
Around 150 metres from Quintamar, as the crow flies, there is now Quinta Pomar. It provides accommodation as well and an event venue surrounded by an orchard, and again a tranquil, natural swimming pool – all around 500 meters away from the sea.
Coming in mid-2025, Vistamar will introduce a house with two additional apartments.
Quintamar

Quintamar was built 20 years ago on the ruins of an old farmhouse. The natural swimming pool in front of the house was one of the first of its kind in the Algarve. The house includes four self-catering units: two houses with 3 bedrooms and two apartments with 2 bedrooms, each accommodating 4 to 8 people. The houses offer views of the sea in the near distance and the pool. Amenities include a children’s playground, a little zoo, a football lawn, and a basketball court.
Quinta Pomar

Quinta Pomar was built in 2024. It consists of a 115 sq meter hall and 3 houses that can accommodate up to 16 people. The hall and the kitchen are spacious enough to host up to 100 guests. Quinta Pomar is a unique venue for hosting special events such as retreats and weddings. The house is surrounded by nature and an organic fruit orchard featuring citrus, pomegranate, fig, and almond trees. Like Quintamar, it boasts a natural swimming pond, perfect for cooling off during the summer.
Vistamar

A hundred years ago, a family lived in this house. They never went hungry. The land provided abundantly, and the nearby sea supplemented their diet. About forty years ago, the family emigrated to America, leaving the house to stand empty and fall into disrepair. Eventually, we were able to purchase the land and secure approval to renovate the house while preserving its historical structure. By mid-2025, the house will be reborn as Vistamar, featuring two apartments.
